The Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at Klinikum Landkreis Erding

Anaesthesiology

Anaesthesiology is considered to be the epitome of multidisciplinary medicine: It is not only in constant dialogue with all surgical disciplines, but and provides perioperative care and collaborates closely with the Department of Internal Medicine by providing active guidance to patients before, during and after surgery.

Intensive Care Medicine

In the two closely collaborating Intensive Care Units, patients are taken care of by physicians and nursing staff specially trained in intensive care. There are a total of 31 monitoring units (10 intensive care and 21 monitoring beds) available for intensive care.
