Patient Care in Vascular Surgery
The surgical area on the 4th ward comprises 40 beds for the Departments of Vascular Surgery and Plastic Surgery. The elective service ward has 17 single-bed rooms and three two-bed rooms offering an additional bed for an accompanying person.
All our patients are cared for on a human, professional and medical level by committed nursing staff, qualified nurses (wound care assistants), nursing auxiliaries, nursing assistants and our ward secretaries who are always there for you with passion and heart.
It is important to us that our team spirit, communication skills and interdisciplinary expertise make you feel safe throughout your inpatient stay. We continue to educate ourselves to deliver the highest level of care in your treatment and recovery process.
Patient care in our department is characterised by an individualised process based on a solid foundation of nursing theory. The steps of this process involve assessing problems and capabilities, setting goals, planning measures as well as performing and evaluating nursing services, with the patient’s individual potential always being included in the treatment. We will always be happy to answer any questions you may have.
