Surgical treatment of benign diseases

  • Surgical treatment of inguinal hernias by means of cosmetic reconstruction or implantation of a synthetic mesh via open or laparoscopic surgery
  • Closure of abdominal, umbilical and incisional hernias using a suture or a synthetic mesh
  • Appendectomy via laparoscopic (laparoscopic appendectomy) or open surgical approach
  • Gall bladder removal via laparoscopic surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy)
  • Resection of the left colon, referred to as pelvic or sigmoid colon, for treatment of diverticulitis by means of laparoscopic surgery (laparoscopic sigmoidectomy)
