Catholic spiritual care at Klinikum Landkreis Erding

As hospital chaplains, we offer you guidance:

  • You find people who have an open ear to your concerns.
  • You receive caring attention and appreciation to help you find peace of mind and gain new strength.
  • We are there for you in moments of crisis and for those on their final journey.
  • We take time for you: to listen and talk, to stay by your side in times of need, to pray and celebrate the sacraments.

Dialogue
Please express your wish for spiritual care via phone, email or a written request upon admission. The question on admission merely asks you whether your name may be disclosed to the visitor service of your parish. At Klinikum Erding, you can arrange a dialogue at any time; at Klinik Dorfen, the chaplain in charge, Lisa Müller, is usually available on Wednesday morning as well as by prior arrangement.

Communion
If you wish, we or our voluntary Communion ministers bring the Holy Communion into your room, usually on Saturday or Sunday morning.

Unction
Unction is a sign that God is close to you even in sickness and suffering and wants to give you strength in times of poor health. Please let us know if you wish to receive this sacrament.

Chapel
The chapel of Klinikum Erding is located on the ground floor. It is open at all times as a place of silence, prayer and meditation. You are cordially invited to attend church services every Sunday at 8:45 a.m. (alternately eucharistic mass and liturgy of the Word).

The hospital chapel of Klinik Dorfen is located on the 2nd floor.
